    7068, x64: Resume from sleep freezes W7

Although I found some issues that are almost similar, nothing seems to really solves the issue I have.

Build 7068, x64 freezes after a resume from sleep (S3). The desktop image is visible but the system totally hangs. Only a hard power down works.
I use two USB devices (keyboard and remote) and both can resume the system from sleep. Strangly the system did work for the first day and now even a clean install fails on resume...?

Vista x86, had no issues at all, rock solid operation for almost a year.

    System config:
Gigabyte EP45ds4 (BIOS P9), E8400, ATI HD2600pro (this card only works with driver 8.12 in Vista SP2 compatibility mode to enable svideo output), HVR2200.

    Solved

Installed W7 RC1 and Catalist 9.4. Issue stayed, then I noticed that my BIOS version had been changed.
MB Gigabyte GA-EP45 DS4 has a dual bios feature and it reverted back to version F4 some time ago without me noticing. After upgrading to version F9 no more S3 issues occured...

    ah

now playing is now a unique window. if you haven't figured it out by now, press cntrl + 3 and it will open the now playing part of the player. simply right click inside the player and you'll see a familiar menu which includes the enhancements your looking for. i knew MS decided to just move it around on us. i think for the better!
