And that you's do well haha.

One last thing though.. After installing and uninstalling "Taskbar Eliminator".. It still remains in msconfig in the startup tab.. How do I get rid of it?
To get rid of any traces of programs i use a 3rd party app, which deletes all connections of the program in the registry, elsewhere on the hard drive.
But since you have already uninstalled it, I would just leave it unchecked if its causing no trouble.

Whats that app?

hello :P

Hi seven forums, i just registered :P

i just got probably same problem and i browsed google for help, well no luck, i saw this forum but i dint saw solution, then i tryed fixin myself and i did! so i wana share, maybe i help somebody.

My explorer.exe started freeze, i was just messing up with custom themes so i knowed its something with them, just dont know how, y.. i was unable to get to themes folder to see if new theme messing up something cause explorer starts but freezes.. atleast whole 7 not frezes. so i figured, lets use random app open file option to navigate to themes folder (using show all type files), i used winrar for that. so the problem was that in C:\Windows\Resources\Themes\Aero\ en-US and Shell folders, all files in them was to old, i did mistake and pasted there files from some winows 7 beta, cause i saw file dates 2008, it suppose to be 2009. so at first windows explorer worked with these files, but later it started freezing.... well i was lucky that i found in one custom theme these folders also and files was in 2009. so i just helping winrar file browsing option, replaced the files with 2009 ones. P.S. windows dint wanted let winrar do replace option, so i had to delete them first and paste as new, and if about ownership, i was did that already earlyer.

so this is how i fixed, after replacing files, i restarted explorer.exe and it worked again! ;D

so the problem was not in .msstyle file, neither in uxtheme.

sorry for spelling mistakes, english is not my native language, im just trying to help, and also im on rush so i writed fast xD
