Add/Remove Programs doesn't show all my apps!

    Hi all!
Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong category, but my Add/Remove programs isn't showing all of my applications!!! I have about 120 programs of which only 14 show up!!! They don't even have icons.... This just started, I don't know what I did... I tried system restore, but I got nothing. Any Ideas???

It has been a while, since you posted your question. I waited, with the hope that a better solution would come along, so that I could learn and it would help you, this does not seem to be the case. This is what I suggest.

would use CCleaner found HERE. Simply download CCleaner, install, Right-click on the CCleaner icon, Select "Run as Administrator", select "Tools" (left side - center), and a list of installed programs should appear.

Typically, CCleaner lists more installed programs than Windows Uninstall Programs does.

    Hope it helps

alot depends on how well the software programmer writes the install and uninstall files, if he /she is a bit lazy and dos'nt code correctly the OS will not add it to the list of uninstallable programs i think most probably wrong but thats all i can think of!

It's basically a registry value for each Program
Mine is 32-Bit OS it would be under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall some time it won't register properly

    Highlight the Program Name

In the right-pane, do the following:

Double-click NoRemove (REG_DWORD) and set it to 0
Double-click NoModify (REG_DWORD) and set it to 0
If NoRemove is set to 1, the Remove button will be unavailable
If NoModify is set to 1, the Change button will be unavailable

You could also see them using Windows Installer Cleanup

    Hope this helps,
    Captain

Windows Installer Cleanup gets me an error on a vbs script and the registry entries for my programs arent all there - there are about 14 programs all in all, I guess it's a registry bug issue? I'll see what I can do. I may have to repair the install of most of my apps to get their registry entries back to their place, but nevermind, I can do that... BTW Thanks for helping Rep+
