Is there a simple way to find out how many files.

Is there a simple way to find out how many files are on any computer.

I do know when I do a antivirus scan - the total comes up.

Is there another way?

First time this for me - my D drive which is where I save all & sundry away from C-drive says I need admin permission to write/delete in "D". I am the only admin & np other accts exist.

a simple batch file for copy files and folders
I want to write a batch file that do this for me: - makes a directory with the "" as the directory name, - copies files and folders from a TEST directory to above destination, - copies only new (or modified) files from the TEST directory to a separate folder. Any Idea?
