UDF DVD discs windows 7 can't read

Hi, I have some steam games that I want to back up onto DVD as some took ages to download; now I know any files larger that 2gb will not work on an ISO dvd disc so I tried this on a UDF dvd disc. I have used both Nero (and verified the contents afterwards) and windows 7 x64 own recorder.
Both write fine to disc and complete with no errors but neither of them are able to be read in windows 7 x64 (they do not show any files, and 1 disc shows it is full while the other shows it is empty).

I then tried both these discs in windows XP sp3 and Vista sp2 x64 and both these discs can be read with no problems....strange

In the steam backup program you can set the max file size and if this is set bellow 2 gb these file can then be burned onto a ISO disc and these are then able to be read with windows 7 with no problem.

Has anyone else had this problem? Anyway to fix this?

its a level 1 & 2 iso limit and I have read you can use level 3 which gives over 2gb in one file of data but Nero does not support.

Anyway just tried the DVD's today just before I was about to throw them out and they work ..........Very very strange I guess they are still some small bugs in windows or a dislike to some of my other programes
