    Shut down options

    Hi,
How can I configure W7 laptop, so if I push POWER button it got turned off, no matter what programs are opened. I already set action for Power button do shut down, but still need to answer YES/NO for programs opened.

I just need simple one touch option, don't care about what is opened. Actually it's for my mother who goes crazy when she can't shut down laptop.

Go to help and support, by start menu, type power button shut down. It will give all the scenarios and how it can be accomplished.

Basically it says go to control panel then power options. You will find the method in the left panel
