    Windows 7 Build 7057 Bugs

I found the culprit causing the lockup in 7057 x86. It was my screensaver, DreamAquarium.scr. Great screensaver but it appears to not function well in build 7057.

I uninstalled DreamAquarium, now let's see if lockups go away.

I am also getting this in the Event Log for build 7057.

    Event 7045 Service Control Manager
A service was installed in the system.
    Service Name: INSTB32
    Service File Name: C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\INSTB32.SYS
    Service Type: kernel mode driver
    Service Start Type: demand start
    Service Account:

It started logging Saturday 3/14/2009 and re-occurs at random times. I have searched the internet but no real information is conclusive. The above file does not exist on my system. Avira and Defender did not detect it as harmful, if it ever was there. The only thing I installed just prior to when the error started was the new Adobe Reader v9.1. FYI.

I use the same screensaver that you want to run, and have build 7057 x86 at work and in my notebook also (Acer Aspire 4520). I never got that errors. I can run that screensaver without problems and haven't got that event log.
Something about your hardware or software configuration maybe?
The unique problem that I've right now is that sometimes my notebook's video crashes. When that happens, the screen get into one color with some lines (looks like some issue with video memory) and sometimes the notebook keep running (I can still hear music and open programs, looking at HDD led) or directly it freezes.
The video hardware is an nVIDIA GeForce 7000M with 256 MB. shared memory assigned. My notebook have 2 GB. of RAM DDR2-667.
I never had problem when I got Vista SP1 x86, but now I'm having this issue. Somebody else have the same problem that I'm getting?

The only problem I have was a popup in notepad but now is fixed with a dare I say it, a "workaround"
