Folder "Acessories" is gone from Start Menu

    Hello.
My folder "Acessories" and "Administrative Tools" have disappeared from my start menu button. I already went to Computer/Local Disk (C: )/ProgramData/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs and I see that those folders are in there, but they don't appear in the Start Menu button That's strange.

    Can someone help me please?
    Thanks a lot

    Welcome, Ruth!

I don't know about Accessories, but for Administrative Tools, right-click the taskbar and click Properties. Then go to the Start Menu tab, and click Customize. There should be a check box down there.

    Hope this helps,
    ~Jonathan

    Are the folders in %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs ?
Have you tried a system restore?

About the folder "Acessories", thank you richc46 and rsvr85, I tried a 'System Restore' and it worked!
