    Burning cd's and DVD's

    hi there
i have recently installed windows 7 and have found that my 2 burning progarams have stop burning things now.
why is this happening? i have nero 9 and an old version of roxio. both worked fine until i got windows 7.
i just tried to burn a disk with media player and that also didnt work.
my cd drive is fine so is there any answers?
    thanks heaps

    Hi,

Are you getting any error messages or anything when trying to use these programs or are they simply not starting up?

    Hi ratty

Some system spec's would really help in this situation, also did you upgrade or clean install, what model dvd-rw are you using, these are just a few things that would help solve your prob's

    Nero9 itself works flawlessly under Win7 x64.
I am unsure about Roxio (especially being older version)

Try removing Roxio and see if the issue is resolved. It could be causing a conflict with Nero9.

You may also want to check for updates for Nero.

Either program, Nero 9 or Roxio will do just about everything you could want on thier own.
Is there any particular reason you need both?

I'm using Roxio 10 now work perfect, Roxio 9 prior use with Win 7 beta, but as was already said they both do the same thing basicly. Not alot of reason to have Nero and Roxio at the same time.
