    Desktop bar disappeared after restart?

Hello all, i was happy with win7 till this happened (i am not a computer wiz, so i will say everything that i have done pass few days even if it prolly doesn't relate to the issue) and also if you would excuse my bad english, sorry.

I have had my computer on for a few days now, i've done many things without shuting down or restarting so i dont know which part did i mess up

Heres the problem, after i restart my computer the wallpaper and explorer.exe bar both disappeared, the only thing that popped up was the explorer folder (you know, when you browse your desktop in folder, thats the one)

I tried right clicking my mouse to see if the right click menu pops up but it didn't

programs that is suppose to launch on startup doesn't start up automaticlly, too

I quickly try to end task in taskmanager and restart explorer.exe but the same thing happened. also restarted a few times to see if it helps

Now, i have been messing around with customziations, as in downloading new themes for win7 etc, but everything went well, but i decided i didn't like it and went back for the original win7 theme

so do anyone know a solution to this? if yes please help and sorry for long thread

    Can you do this?
    Repair Install

Or start a new task CMD ,hit enter then type sfc /scannow
    Let us know.

**Try going C:\Windows and have a look for explorer.exe
If you changed the start button there should be an original explorer.exe, usally renamed to something like explorer.bac.exe (if you made it,and you should have)
If there is,rename it to explorer.exe and delete the modified explorer.exe.

Did you get the OS pre-installed on the computer? Can you return it for warranty? Could be a graphics card faliure. So everything was working fine, then you restarted, and then your wallpaper and icons dissapared, is this right?

An additional comment to Coolness sage advice, if you intend to utilize the warranty, do not make any more changes to the OS; you may void the warranty.
