The only thing about Windows 7 which I don't like is the fact that it's so damn solid, there's nothing to fix or fiddle with any more

I am sorry to hear about this, but quite honestly, Vista is great, but 7 far exceeds it.

Well, I don't know. It does funny things too. Just a few minutes ago it threw off my German keyboard setting for no reason at all. I was in the middle of the Forum. And similar nits and lice have happened already previously - I was always able to fix them. But some newbie might have had problems.

1/ Using iTunes, working fine, then switching back to 7, it tells me that my iTunes folder is on a locked disc and won't open?
You need to install itunes in W7

2/ Pictures I have in a folder I assigned them to the Windows 7 Library to display them on media centre slide show, worked fine, then later in XP trying to add new photos to this folder "Access Denied" poped up
W7 contains "learning code" (artificial intelligence, much like the Terminator, only better) and therefore protects itself against tampering. The degree to which it protects itself is varied depending on the "noobness" of it's user.

3/ Music files I had on my music folder were assigned to the music library in media player, and played fine, then in XP mode the folder appeared empty? They were all hidden by windows 7
Yes, the T900 is playing tricks on you again

Being as your username is Pauls898, I'm going to take a wild stab in the dark and assume that you're not John Connor. Therefore, there is nothing you can do, Windows 7 is taking over the world...
    FUNNIEST. POST. EVER.
