I have two icons in the notification area that has been uninstalled but still shows up. How can I remove them? Both are Tunebite.exe Thanks. B-72

Normally they should diappear with the next reboot. Next time you uninstall, use Revo, that will dlete them in the second pass. When Revo asks you for the option to choose, use "advanced". And then "select all" and "delete all" in the second pass.

Thank you WHS. To the poster if you feel that the entire program has not been removed follow the sage instructions of WHS.

If, as I believed, it is just the icon, my way may work.

In any event, I and, also, WHS hope that you can resolve your problem.

Sorry tepid, I was typing and you were posting

That's ok,, that app I created to do exactly this,, clear the Notifications Icons Cache of the systray,, which is what I think they are referring to. I don't think that even Revo uninstaller will pull that info out.

I have done the notification thing and rebooted nothing gets rid of the Avast icon. If I download the software recommended does it work automatically?

I have hidden the Avast icon. I uninstalled Avast with Revo using the deep search and when I installed my new anti virus it did not mention a conflict anti virus, so all is well. I am not going to worry about it.
