My Temp folder is pretty big

My windows partition is 100 GB and I always was curios how did it get full, I wonder if it's normal to have a 40GB temp folder, and what would happen if I delete it?
All the files that I need are saved, so I guess nothing will be loss.

    Use the accepted procedure.

    Go to c drive

    properties

    disc clean up

    also check clean system folders.

    Run it several times.

Once it gets so large it takes sevral attempts to get rid of everything.

There is nothing in those files that will cause problems if you clean them off the drive. In fact you are shown a choice of which files you want to clean, before the actual function begins.

    Good luck

You can also type into search %temp% - select all and hit delete.

If it finds something in use it will ask you if you would like to "skip" it. hit "skip all" and proceed.

Works pretty good. I have never had a problem deleting anything in this folder

    Have a good one all
