    Administrative powers in W7

Hi I'm running a personal administrator account and everytime that I try to unzip files to the main drive it says it always fails. But when I unzip it into the desktop the unzip works. So what I do is unzip my files to the desktop and then copy paste then into programfiles so just it'll work. Hassle.

This maybe so because of the protection that w7 applied on the main drive.

    Question:

1.) How do you turn off that security feature by windows 7 so I can directly unzip files into the main drive C:\

I am using winrar, so how do you enable winrar to permanently have administrator rights on?

You can either right-click on winrar and choose "run as administrator" or create a short-cut, go to the compatibility properties and choose "run as administrator". The former allows you to run the program with elevated privileges once, the latter - always.
