7048 for me, while 7057 may be a little faster (?) several glitches reported, makes me wary, will stay with a well proven issue, until such time as official next move.

7057 have 2 bugs that bug me a lot (UL glitch with certain sliders if you are using wddm 1.0 drivers, and audiodg.exe leakes memory when using mic on x-fi), but im still using it :) however 7048 was generaly better for me.
I would have to say 7048 x64 was the snappiest - 7057 x64 is running fine except for a few minor issues but not enough to go back. This is an update so I think It would be OK if I did a fresh install but as this is my Upgrade OS Set want to keep it as is. Was a lot more disk intensive when first installed but settled down nicely now
7057 64-bit for me. Its the build Ive had the least amount of issues with and its fast and stable.
With most here, 7057 x64.
I have a few issues that I am trying to iron out that I had working in 7000, but even with 7000 it took a while to get them working so no real downgrade here.
Overall 7057 is good, quick, and I like the new stuff. Do really like the extra time before expries.
Cheers.
Just so you guys know, When you look at the terms on 7057, it says that it's Release Candidate 1.
7057 x64 gets the thumbs up from me, although 7000 is in with a shout. 7057 is quicker and obviously has more in it and to tell you the truth I would buy this now as it is because I dont (touch wood) have any issues with it. In fact it is my primary os and although I have 7057 x86 on another partition I never boot it up. 7022 and 7048 were to buggy for my liking and am sorry to have dealt with them. People (in my opinion) create there own problems when we hear them complaining about said os. 7057 x64 is rockin for me!!!
other then one problem with clicking on start menu computer and getting just a blank screen 7057 seem to be the best ( asside from wmc) that thay seem to have craped out on. before every time that blank screen would come up the only way i could view
my drives was to reboot and it would work again. then i opened the task manger and found that if i end task on (dllhost.exe ( com surrogate) ) it resets the screen and i don't have to reboot. anyone no what that file dose and why it stops the screen from comming up?
thanks scrooge
