    write permission

    I have win 7 ultimate.

I read a great write up on how to create a "show desktop" shortcut. It tells how to add the icon to the taskbar.

    https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...n-taskbar.html

I followed the directions which included writting a file to the c:/windows folder but, windows says I do not have permission to contact the admn. well, I checked my "account" and it is set to Admin...

Oh and I can created a folder in c:/windows just not a file?

    Isn't that wierd???

I can't help you on the permission, but I sure would like to see the article that you read. Could you post a link to it? Thanks,

There is already a show desktop shortcut, on the right side after the clock.

I know, but it is so small that if I have a hangover, I can not hit it with my mouse.
