    Downloads ?

    Hello,

Is it possible to change where Downloads end up ?
e.g., having them appear on my Desktop, rather than the download folder ?

    Thanks,
    Bob

go to C:\Users\<you> and right click downloads, click properties and then location, simply change the "downloads" at the end of the path to "desktop" (without quotes)

(make a restore point, i dont know if this will interfere with your desktop, logic says it wont... but then since when did logic and windows go together?)

yes but if you take the time to change the downloads folder location it will configure all your apps for you

Just what works for me, I'm sure your option works for you, so they have more than one way to solve their problem.

    Possible suggestion?

You also can click and drag your downloaded file from the download location and drag it to the desktop. That might be your best bet, being that downloading straight to your destop will fill it up real quick. Making your desktop overcrowded.
    Just a suggestion.
