    Display HardDrives on Desktop

Hi, On Vista I was able to have a pop-out bar at the side of the screen that I could use to show what was in My Computer. This option isnt available in Windows 7 which is really anoying me, So I was wondering if anyone knows how to display your Hard Drives and Drives on the desktop without using Windows Sidebar
    Thanks
    Ben

    Welcome!

That is possible; just right-click on the drives in My Computer and select Create Shortcut. I believe they are placed on the desktop for you.

    Hope this helps,
