I always use the versions from the MS hardware page, works fine on my laser desktop 8000 (both mouse and keyboard--- WHICH ROCKS by the way) never had a single issue since November (build 6801 though now).

I dunno if I could use a curved keyboard....

EDIT: Oh my, I just looked at the prices as well. No keyboard is that nice.
