Windows 7: Times New Roman font displaying as Segoe UI

21 Feb 2010   #11

Windows 7

Thanks for the reply. I tried the reg fix but it seems everything is still the same.

And I just noticed: if I change the font to any other size besides the default 12 in Word, it appears correctly as Times New Roman. For example, 11, 11.5, 12.5, 13...they all appear as TNR. However, when I make it size 12...bam, back to looking like Segoe UI.

Keep the suggestions coming, starting to reach my wit's end on the matter.

I wasn't sure where to post this but, yesterday I installed the light version(s) of Helvetica fonts on my laptop and now (on Tumblr, usually) the fonts that are supposed to be displayed as Helvetica, I think? are coming out in weird characters.
