    @ Orbital Shark,

Instead of installing a different version and then reinstalling 7068, why cant you just create another small partition to play with and when your done you can delete it.
I've currently only got a 40GB internal drive (my girlfriend uses the machine too, she's getting quite annoyed with my constant re-installing). I've got a 250GB external connected via USB but when trying to install it wont allow it. Something to do with the current drive is not supported, i've checked my BIOS and it allows for USB bootup.

    Very strange

    I don't think there is, it's a 2.5" SATA internal & 3.5" IDE. Thanks anyway

What build of Se7en are you running? I've just tried it on my desktop (build 7068) and it too a fraction of a second.

Try to create ~5 folders in folder and try then. It created folder fast but it takes 1-2 secs for folder name text to become editable

7068 Seems slower, but no big evidence, just feels slower when I'm cliking around. I went from 7000 to 7048... 7048 felt the best so far.. now on 7068, but changed motherboard and cpu, thus can't pin point if it is the OS or my hardware. Guessing the OS because some games that I had no problem playing on 7048, are having program issues in 7068. Example, in crysis, character is holding gun, but only see hands and silencer. Also, Windows ratings have changed for the video. I have a HD 4870 x2 that rated 7.2 in 7048, but now 7068 rates it 5.9, which is more accurate (IMO). I went from a x38 mobo to a x58 and a core 2 quad 2.6 to a i7 2.6 and windows rates the cpu lower... went from 7.2 to 6.9.... i7 is the latest.... figured I'd get a better ratting.. oh well.. i oc'd it to 3.4 and now get a 7.5 rating.. Just processed Xmen Origin (workprint) from .avi to DVD in 26 min.. used to take me over an hour for 4gigs.... but that improvement is due to HW not all OS...

I'm going to roll back to 7048 and see if it plays the games any better and feels faster....... sorry for the nonsense rant if my story is hard to follow...

old setup... 7048 that was upgraded to 7068 on.. q9400 Quad 2.6, Dual Ch 8gb DDR3 1600 (running at 1333), x38 mobo and sata2 only HD,

    new set up...clean install 7068 on i7 920 2.6 (oc'd to 3.4), Tri Ch 6gb DDR3 1600 (stock runs at 1066, but OC'd to 1333), x58 mobo and sata2 only HD...

Here's an update. I tried 7057 with the same error Stop 0x0000007B, it just won't recognize the SAS Embedded Raid card on the S5000XVNSASR board..

So I went back to 7000 and it's working like a champ so I'm just going to hang out here until the next release and I'll try again..

If anyone ever learns anything about this error I'd love to know, am very curious why it won't even load the driver when I point it to it.. So it can't just be that they removed the WDM, it has to be something deeper.

Well,, spent much of the day rolling back to 7048. 7048 OS seems faster while using my stock i7 when clickin around, but come to find out, my new HW mixed with 7048 doesn't go well with Crysis.. freezes... so ghosted back to 7068... just finished playing an hour or so of (for testing purposes :))... crysis, crysis warhead, call of duty 4, and fallout 3.... everything, but crysis is top notch... I'm playing crysis in the highest possible setting... and am now convinced my 7048 set up was no better, I guess I am just more sensitive to the anti A setting (far views... ie.. sky, mountains, etc...)... also, when OC'ing my i7 and DDR3 in 7048, it is unstable.... much more stable in 7068... so far stable at 3.34 and 1330 for everyday use and gamign, just not the everest stability stress tests.....

New HW... xbox 360 wireless controller... windows 7 doesn't recognize, but easy enough to get the drivers from MS... works great, but not as quick as a mouse....

I just noticed the WMP12 taskbar issue, and it's annoying as hell. I thought it might have gotten screwed up after installing some add ons, but it's nice to know it was not my fault :)

Anyway, if someone has a fix fot it, it would be great.
