The same happens to me. When I right click, go to New, and then folder, it doesn't show up. I have to refresh the folder I'm looking at to get it to show... then right click and hit rename. A bit annoying really. Only bug I've really noticed in 7068 so far.

One more thing, I'm not sure if it's a 7068 problem or network problem, but putting in the correct key for my network doesn't allow it to connect wirelessly on my laptop. All other desktops (with 7) and laptops (with vista) connect perfectly fine.

hmm strange...just noticed that under systems, it is showing 4gb installed but only 3.5 gb is usable..I did a clean install of build 7068 too and it's the 64 bit version...under task manager the total ram shows only 3.5gb too...

I have a folder on my c: drive named 'desktops'. In it I store a handful of desktop wallpapers. I have my background set to slideshow and it scrolls through these images. However it keeps reverting to one image and then inserting an 'Unsaved Theme' on my personalize page. I set it back to my saved theme and delete the new entry.

My Recyle Bin is overflowing with deleted 'custom theme' files and it's starting to get on my nerves.

Another bug that wasn't happening on any previous build:

If you try to install from a bootable USB stick, you get an error during installation's first screen that CD/DVD required driver is missing.

The workaround is to put any cd/dvd in the dvd drive and restart installation. Once the DVD drive is not empty (!) the isntallation proceeds fine..
i dunno wat its all about u talkin of but in my case in win 7000 my USB KEY doggle is not workin .... it was workin fine in vista im downloadin win 7068 i hope it works this time ....

That's actually not a Windows error -- part of your RAM will be used by the BIOS / Mobo -- for example if you've got an integrated sound card / video card / both etc. The memory left after these is what Windows can use for its processing.

You *might* be able to free up some memory by twiddling around with the BIOS settings but I doubt it. In the Bios itself you also might see Installed memory / useable memory as well.

    Cheers

I've had the theme's change from a slide show to single picture a few times without me doing a thing. Which is pretty much the same problem that Jac 4 posts up is describing. That is a bug for sure and I can concure with Jac that this bug is for real.

Also I've had sleep turn itself on after I told it to never turn on. I had this same problem in Vista before also and it looks like it's still there. It seems like something triggers it but I can't tell what it is.

    Hi All,

I am running 64 x2 Athlon 6000+ fresh install 7068 64 bit Build, I have found media centre to be very unstable. The M/B has an onboard Realtek 8139 Network adapter. All of my media is located on a central server and played over the network. I find Media Centre freezes when playing files (I not sure but I have had a lot of issues with it dropping the network, xp works fine so not a hardware issue), I get 100% cpu but the os hasnt frozen, it takes ages to respond to anything (like 15 mins for a mouse click) cursor moves normally though. I have also found that if I have TV recording (Hauppage Nova-S) and play a video my cpu temps hit 70 degrees! just playing a vid on its own 50 degrees. I have checked the heatsink, transfer paste etc.

Am I the only one? I might try the 32 bit version to see if it helps with CPU temps and the network dropping.

network shares acting odd -- \\hostname\folder\ works, and all files in that folder, but \\hostname\folder\subfolder\ does not. other box is xp sp3 with simple sharing on (could get to these files fine in the previous xp install on this box)
