    Windows Explorer has stopped working

if i have multiple apps open at the same time & if i do a ALT+TAB to switch to another window, it gives this error, "Windows Explorer has stopped working"
    Any ideas?
is there a specific update available to fix this problem

    I m using build 7000 32 bit.
It happens atleast 10 times in a day.
whenever i have multiple windows open and if i want do ALT+TAB, the windows explorer stops working. i have also updated windows and scanned the system from norton internet security 09, avast pro, malwarebytes, defender, etc but no results of virus or spyware.

Do you have two antivirus programs running, Norton and Avast? If you do, uninstall one of them. They are resource hogs (especially Norton) and will fight for your system's resources. They may also fight each other's definitions.

It's probably due to it being build 7000 as that's the first beta build. Have you used any other build? 1 option would be to try using the latest build (7068) as it's a LOT more stable & has SO many fixes since the initial 7000 release. I used to get 'Windows Media Player has stopped responding' every time I opened it but it was fixed since build 7022.
