Hi, I just registered here and i have little question about windows 7
Id like to know is it possible to remove this (shown in screenshot). it annoys me little bit..
When i scroll down folder it shows the folder name, it kinda annoys me...

Type folder options into windows search. Click on the view tab. Uncheck the option I have underlined and see if that is what you're after
Thanks for the suggestion, but it didnt help. Maybe its involved with Access Center or something.
I just tried unchecking that option and it seems to work on this end. Did you click "apply" before you exited the folder options window?
yes, i applied. I also found out that it works on certain number of folders.
for example: 33 items, i scroll nothing comes up
93 items, then it starts to show the names while scrolling..
I'll look around a bit and see if I can figure this out. If I find anything I'll post back with you.
I'm a bit puzzled, I have many folders with more than 400 folders and over 1000 files.
"my pc is very dis-organised" anyway, the folder descriptions are diasabled and they dont show on any folder or file.
soon as I enable it again and bingo the descriptions come back.
awkward....

This is the pop up for when you are scrolling using the vertical scroll bar in Windows Explorer. This cannot be turned off with normal the pop-up settings below. I have not found a way to turn it on and off yet.
