    Language Packs for Windows 7

    Hi all
One can customize the keyboards and change local time, currency date options away from that utterly absurd USA system MMYYDD (why on earth don't they use DDYYMM or YYMMDD like everybody else) but is it possible to ADD to the actual language you installed Windows 7 in ( I think only German, English, Spanish (maybe) and possibly Arabic are available).

I did see some language pack add ins but whether these are for just formatting type or real Language options I don't know -- before I try just wanted to make sure if someone has already tested this.

    Cheers

You forgot one DDMMYY 30/03/09 that's how we have it in Australia, it doesn't bother me any more, they just like being different and that's OK, it would be a boring World if everything was done the same.

DDMMYY or YYMMDD is fine by me.

AFAIK, The beta Windows 7 Ultimate is only being made available in the limited set of languages that you mention.

Obviously when the final RTM is released this will change and the less "popular" languages, (no disrespect meant to speakers of these languages), will be available, until then I'm afraid it's limited to the languages provided
