Should I keep these or not?

Should I keep these or not?
You can see what I have placed a red box around by viewing the image here...
My question is are these neccessary and why are there multiples? Wouldn't that in itself cause software conflicts?
They came from various games off steam and other programs such as drivers and editing software.
I don't understand why it stacked so many, I mean wouldn't it be better to uninstall all the versions and reinstall the most up to date versions? I went this route last time and afterwards I got side by side errors. I just don't want software conflicts so I ask the experts here, is it safe to remove these? Will sony vegas and adobe CS4 still function?

No need to uninstall those..I mean they will be updated everytimes it needs, in particular visualC++
But i saw you've got the NetFramework v4, this can be left as is, in one condition:
Go, Control Panel=>Administration Tools=>Services....Look for the NetFramework v2 (should be two entries in x64 Os) then set them to "Manual" if they do are set to "disabled". no need to start them, just "Manual"
NetFramework v4 should be set "Automatic" (delayed)

If you look at the version unmbers and sizes you will see that they are actually different "programs". They just unfortunately have the same "Application Name" defined for each of them :)
You definately do NOT want to uninstall any of them. Some program (probably several different programs) installed them and if you uninstall them then one or more of your installed programs will stop working.

Some games and other software depends upon those. I would just ignore them.

As mentioned, they're needed to play certain games. If you don't plan on playing any you can remove them if you wish, each game will install the required version when it is installed. However, they don't take up much space so you should keep them unless you really need hard drive space.
