Sticky Notes on Windows 7

Yeah you just have to use word or something and you can just type a letter for example "i" and then copy and paste onto your sticky note then you can delete the "i" and the font is still changed.
I use a free gadget called "Large Notes" that works great and you can change colors and fonts and size of the sticky notes and save more than one note. It's much better than the native win 7 app, imo. It's a modified version of the original vista gadget. Very light & simple, nothing fancy, but does exactly what I need, no more, no less.
Actually Shawn, it doesn't help. What the poster above wanted, and I want as well, is to change the font itself. What you did was post a link on how to affect the font. While that can be useful, it isn't what all of us really need, which is to change that default font to something more readable.
Again, I appreciate your work to post your link, but I have to say that Microsoft really dropped the ball on this one. To be able to change the background color, but not the font? I can't see why MS wouldn't allow us to do that. It seems like a trivially easy thing to do.
At any rate, I'm going to do as other posters have said and use a third party app. Or maybe just go back to firing up notepad when I need a quick note. Notepad, by the way, DOES let you change fonts!
The default font for sticky notes is Segoe Print. If you don't use this font, delete it from your system, after that sticky notes will use MS Sans Serif as the default font.
