Show desktop is all the way on the right, bottom, after the clock. Its a clear box, hardly noticeable.

    Hi,

I'll be in a window, I use my mouse and then when I don't need the mouse anymore I set it aside and at times I lose my window. My window minimizes and hides until I grab the mouse and get it back.
You aren't setting the mouse aside and it's hovering on the 'show desktop' button perchance?
I don't have a show desktop button. I really miss that. I right click on the toolbar and select "show desk top"

This just happened again. This time I moved the mouse slightly to see where the cursor was. It was over my time and date.
    Thats show the desktop

Type internet explorer, in search. When you see it just right click. You will see properties.
It says it's running in "normal window"

OH!!! LOL... now that you said that.. I put the mouse aside of the time and date and see that little block and it goes to desktop. LoL ... thanks a lot Richard

Now to get myself out of the habit of moving the cursor there, which was never intentional.

    Thank you! :)

Ah, sorry smartyeyeball hehe ... thanks.

Mystery solved ... yet I'm still moving the mouse away and it lands on that spot lol .... I JUST learned though, you can shut that option off when you right click on it. If I can't get into a new habit, I'll have to close that.
