    Windows 7 - Wierd windows 7 problem

hi i posted this forum before, and ended it thinking the problem has been fixed, but it hasnt and i still get it times to times. here is the forum i posted.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    So this is what happens...
its been about 2 weeks that when i power up my computer, doesnt function well. for example, i try to open on itunes it doesnt open up, or i on folders, apps they keep loading up but never load up. and also on this first power up when windows is booting up, at the windows logo loading, it takes about 2-3 min to get to the actuall windows,(its usually comes up between 7-13 second). so when this happens i have to restart myand everything would be fine.
Anybody knows what is this problem?
    thank you

I would think it's something that a clean install could easily fix, unless you've tried that.

Sometimes a clean install is the only way to go

Well, I'm pretty sure there's a file error in there somewhere causing the boot lag, and I had similar problems once that were fixed easily by a clean install, so yeah, that's about the best advice I'd be giving.

If you upgraded from a previous version of Windows, I'd most emphatically suggest a clean install.

A clean install may be the way to go. If you originally installed as an upgrade, just bite the bullet and do the clean install now. If your origianl installation is a clean install, try a repair install.

I have to format my whole drive for a clean install right?

Yes, bottom line is you have to reinstall all of your programs. If you use windows easy transfer, everything else is transferred; settings, favorites, desktop, cookies etc. The only downside are the programs.

Be sure to back everything up, before trying.

The drive that will have the OS will be formatted.

    Good luck

The good news is, 90% of all issues are solved by this.

The bad news is the rest of the issues are hardware or driver issues.
