    Windows 7 ultimate will not Boot


    When I turn on the computer it says

    failed to boot
    <windows*root>*system*32\ntoskrnl.exe
      My Computer

    Possible hard drive failure? or the ntoskrnl.exe file is corrupt. Boot off the Windows DVD and do a recovery.

    Hi Copson, your problem is often caused by hard disk going to heaven...
    You can try reinstall Windows 7 over the previous installation (this will leave all your data and programs).
