I believe there is one difference between Vista and 7. Vista created a restore point daily. 7 checks daily, but it does not create a restore point unless the latest restore point is 7 or more days old, from what I've read.

I think you are right. I noticed that too. That's why I prefer imaging where I control the schedule myself. I shall update my little write-up accordingly.

Have a Vista machine here and it has 2x1Gb PC2-5300 DDR2 @667MHz in it and running very slowly. I have a 2GB stick of PC2-6400 @800MHz spare and wondering if it's ok to put it in with the PC 5300?
