    Widows 7 userprofile service help!

    Hello All,
This is my first time in a forum, so I apologize in advance for any faux pax I may engage in. I recently installed Windows 7 over my Vista. I was happy for a month or two, and then one day the computer screen displays
"user profile service failed the logon. user cannot be loaded"
and happiness left in a hurry. Now I can not reach any of my files, load any of the original software I had, and to makes things worse it was my administrator account so now I can not change/fix anything. I've tried Microsoft, but they have not provided anything that helps because all their repairs require administrator rights and they can't seem to get the idea that the administrator account will not load.

HELP! I'm desperate to get the computer working again. Please does anyone know how to repair this problem?
    Thank you,
    Cathy MacCulloch

Hello Cathy, and welcome to Seven Forums.

This may be able to help get this error fixed. It works the same in Windows 7.

The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded. - Vista Forums

    Hope this helps,
    Shawn

I just hit this same issue. Totally out of the blue. Win7 pro pretty recently installed on my machine and I have not knowingly changed anything recently. Not good at all.
