How can I fix this contrast?
Is it just me, or is windows 7 really annoying to LOOK AT?
I feel like I'm going to blind looking at text boxes that have no border around them....

Hello randomNaMe,
Welcome to Seven Forums.
Type adv sys in the start menu search and select 'View advanced system settings'. Check 'show shadows under windows' and see if that looks better to you.
Hope this helps.

Wasn't aware of this settings, but it turns out it was already set. I am more concerned with the stuff inside windows, the borders look pretty good.
P.S. - Whow ould want to look at this?? What is the purpose??? Lol.
I agree that the white areas can be a little strong on the eyes, especially on a large high contrast LCD monitor.
What you can try is to use the built in colour calibration to set things more to your needs
go to
Control Panel - Appearance and Personalization - Display
the calibration wizard is on the left panel - you should be able to tone this contrast down using the options here
I've installed this Luna theme for Windows 7 now, and I must say it is very good.
I really love the default beige-grey background color for dialogs and menus stuff, and the border is back around my boxes. :)
It looks like whoever made this theme missed it few things, but it's definitely usable. The Luna Aero looks kinda bad (ie. title text) unfortunately.
I think if someone made an aero skin that just changed the background color from light purple to beige-grey and fixed the other small things, it would be best (glass color and stuff already easy to change).
