I also use Nero7 and that works well too.
Thanks

I have the same problem. I got the files for Windows 7 Beta (Build 7000) from a friend. I took the files and packed them into an ISO using ImgBurn and then used the same program to burn the ISO to a disk.

Then when it reaches 'Boot from CD/DVD' it just moves on as normal and loads Windows from my Hardrive.

I'll try out some of those other programs you guys have mentioned and see how they work out.

How come everyone else doesn't have to do that? Maybe they didn't say that they used it or they might have used a different program....

Most people are burning the ISO to disc. Its a bootable ISO image.
It sounds like you just took all the files off the ISO and created your own but didnt make it bootable.

For burning:

-Win 7 has a built in burner (I have not tried it yet)
-CDBurnerXP (I had to change compatibility mode to XP SP2 to get the program to function correctly)
-IMG Burn

upgrading from windows7 you dont even have to burn it, simply extract the ISO and run setup.exe

windows will update w/o even burning.
