    RUN ipconfig ?

    Hello,

Playing around with program(s) to determine my network usage via Comcast Broadband, and am a bit uncertain which Network Adapter is actually being used.

Anyway, it was suggested that I go to: RUN ipconfig/all to get the information.

When I do the RUN ipconfig/all, a black screen (like the old DOS ones) flashes for under a second.
    Impossible to read it.

I also tries RUN ipconfig /all (with the space)
    Same thing.

Anyone know how to keep this black screen, presumably with the info. I'm after from disappearing ?

Is the actual network adapter that is being used available anywhere else ?
I show 4 icons for them, and it is uncertain which is the actual active one.

I posted re this yesterday, and don't want to repeat the old posts, but if anyone has a free minute, they might want to look at them.

    Thanks,
    Bob

    Type cmd in search

    do not hit enter

right click on cmd then run as adminstrator

    Put the ipconfig and try.

If you have more than one entry listed in ipconfig/all then its likely to be the one with a global ip address and dns servers.

Start - Run - Type cmd - Click Ok

    Type ipconfig/all - Hit enter

Wherever you see IP addreses is the ones u r computer is currently using. It may be, Local Area Connection, VPN, Wireless adapter likewise.
