    Mouse Won't Wake PC

I can only wake my PC from sleep using the keyboard. How do I get it to do it with the mouse? My Logitech mouse does not have a power management tab under Properties.

I'd guess you might want to check your bois for the option and make sure your mouse drivers are correct.

If you have an optical mouse (light on the bottom), some models cannot wake the computer when the light is out. I know I must use the keyboard. You can check to see if the mouse is set up to wake.

    Control panel>mouse>hardware>properties>change settings>power options.

I don't have the change settings-power options under properties?

Dont you have change settings? Read my post again.

If not, it means to me that your mouse does not have the capablity of waking the computer.

If this does not work, your mouse cannot wake the computer

    Type device manager in search

    Click on mouse

Click on the information that drops down

    Change settings

    Power management.

Try the side clicks on the mouse to wake the computer, if you have them.

If your mouse has the side clicks, see if that wakes it. I think that your mouse does not have the ability to wake or drivers should be replaced.

Nope, no luck. I'm really even more interested in getting rid of the search box that comes up every time the pc wakes up.
