I have a ASUS Laptop with Intel I3 processer and Windows 7 Home Premium. I recently had a forced shutdown during a Windows upgrade session. Ever since then the Boot and Shutdown times have increased to over 15 minutes. I have run the msconfig unticking all but the antivirus...
Everytime I go to Restart or Shutdown I am getting a forced showdown screen before Win 7 shutsdown. This is with all processes that I can control closed.
Here is what was running on my last shutdown:

I don't see anything out of the ordinary in that list to cause a forced...
When I turn my computer off I get the error: 1 program need to close: Iexplorer.exe
Which I don't have it open. Even if I opened it I closed it. This started doing this today. Any ideas what to do?
I have a problem that every time I shut my computer down, a screen pops up that says there is a program running and it is being forced to shut down. The problem is there is NO program running when I shut down. What do I need to do? Thanks
