I too am sorry, I may have overstepped the mark a bit. I wasn't directing my comments at one particular person, however if anyone was offended by it, sorry.

But, back on topic, the 5:1 compression ratio is the best I have been able to find for it, has anyone found any benchmarks that exceeds this?

Edit: I also had a look at UHARC (another one someone talked about on one of the pages somewhere), it reduced it to 76 mb (from 308mb) which makes it a 4:1 compression ratio (for those that don't know, 4:1 is worse than 5:1).

Yeah you are right ... but just by chance i googled "office 2007 compressed"
and got a lot of links , the first 2 state this ..

    "VISTA & MS-OFFICE 2007 HIGHLY COMPRESSED[4MB]
    Description:
Two Major product M!cr0s0ft that compressed very extreme. For
extracting Office 2007, install beforehand KGB Archiver that existed
in zip archive, and for vista can be direct burn uses Alcohol 120% or
    tool that of a kind.."

Microsoft Office 2007 Compressed to 2 MB

    ...
Both mention this KGB thingy ? (thingy = height of my tech knowledge )

So I guess its all just a big fake ? oh well , I was just trying to let the original poster be "aware" of such tools , IF they are real.
    FAKE

I've tried myself by curiosity because i think it's impossible. And it's the case : The Vista ISO is just empty, the all files are in the iso, but if you check with hexadecimal editor you will see that there are only zeros insides the files

And for Office, after 2 hours of decompression, i get a bunch of useless files, when i click on setup, an error message say me that the dll has not digital signature

Termana... Please do a research or something, A few months back, I downloaded Windows 7 RC Highly Compressed to 440mb and when uncompressed it was 2.3 or or 2.4gb, I don't remember right now, I burned the iso on a disc and it worked like a charm.
