Ok so I used to have the windows 7 setup but I accidently deleted it and it took me a while to download windows 7... it was build 7048 or 7057 I don't remember but I need help! I really want it againg and I need it to be highly compressed (compressed should be around 300-200mb) and that's a huge difference.... If someone can help me I would thank you a lot!
You wont find any build any where the size you mentioned. The smallest you will get is the x86 version which is a minimum of 2.2 gig. I have seen a lite build knocking about at just under 2 gig but I would go no where near it. The os is still in beta stage and you have got people ripping the guts out of it. Cant believe some people but its true.
So there you have it, 2. odd gig for x86 or 3. odd gig for x64.
I am talking about software used to compress the giant 2 gig setup and then uncompressed it
normal should be around 2.4 gig
and compressed should be around 230- 240 mb
get it?
It's impossible to compress it THAT much. Compressing it would only save like a couple of MB.
I just used 7-zip to zip a 2,668,832 KB file... 7068.0.090321-1322_x86fre_client_en-us_Retail_AllSKU-GRC1CPRFRER_EN_DVD.iso
the compressed file is
2,518,678 KB
about 97% the size of the original file.
It's gonna be hard to compress an iso of an OS simply because the iso itself already has compressed cabs/files in it. It'd be like trying to make a crumpled piece of paper even smaller.
