oops my mistake i guess it was typing mistake really sorry well i want to KEEP XP and remove VISTA.
sorry for the typing mistake again.i didn't notice that myself
Post back a screenshot of your full Disk Management map from Vista. We can advise you the exact steps then.
i've posted it in the other thread.sorry abt the same topic here again
If you still want to get rid of vista, I already posted how to do it earlier in the thread. The fastest way is to boot to XP and erase the vista partition, then restart using your xp install disk to reinstall the xp bootloader. To do that you have to select the repair option from the disk, and the command FIXMBR will finish the task. Otherwise, a simple, clean install of xp will also do the job. But if you don't have an XP install disk I wouldn't even know where to start. Good luck
me?? sleeping?? in front of my computer no way. well i don;t know what to do,haven't made a move yet. can anybody explain the difference of xp's task manager and vista/7's task manager.how do they work? means how do they calculate ram and stuff?.thx
Now you're going off on tangents...
Re-state what your real Goals are here...
Why don't you kill both OS's, install 7 as a clean format, and move on? XP is dead, and Vista is . . . somewhere.
