    screen size


    HI, i have just about tried everything i know to fix this problem which is i cannot see the bottom of items displayed if i need to give a command or to ok,or apply i just cannot see it ,it seems that my screen is not large enough,my latest idea was to change the task bar from botton to top thinking that would help but no change, i would be really gratefull if some one could sort this for me thanks Pearl xx

    Hello,

    First, could you please post a screenshot of your problem?

    Could it be a monitor issue? Try using the controls on your monitor to move the display.

    Hello Pearl,

    You might check to make sure that your DPI settings is set to 96 DPI, and that your screen resolution is set to it's native resolution to see if this may be the problem.

    Shawn, i have tried your advice first ,so i will see if that has altered it, if that does not work i will try Jonathans way, i will be back to you with the results when i get chance . many thanks .your help is much appreciated/ Pearl x

    I know exactly what your talking about. Change the resolution. What size is your monitor and whos make is it? If it`s say a 17" 4:3 (square) monitor you should be at 1280 x 1024.
    If it`s a widescreen we need to know the make & model so we can find the native resolution.

    Brink ,i think that your advice has done it, but i think i have another problem the size of the web page im looking at does not fit the screen it is like just in the middle with space around it, i have a 16 9 acer. can i just say this is one of the best forums i have ever been on especially for someone like me who is not all that techno minded and is mature in age (,despite what my profile mistakenly says junior, many thanks guys for sharing your knowledge

    I could've sworn any resolution below 1280 x 1024 was practically obsolete...

    Hell, most modern day CRT Televisions support that...

    OOPS, to make the web page bigger all i done was alter the zoom level from the bottom right corner ,how simple was that . Pearl xx
