ease of access problem

This morning I started up my system ( win 7 ultimate 32bit) and al hell cut loose. Ease of access button appeared on my screen without being asked, and suddenly there were 3 or 4 Aero screens, and NOTHING would work.
After struggling for a while, I managed to get back to a restore point.
I am now afraid to touch anything in case it happens again.
I have obviously lost some programs with the restore, which I can deal with, but I can't find a way to turn off ease of access.
Please help!

How is the ease access starting? Does it start before you login in? or after..What information did the 3 or 4 windows (Aero Screens) say?

I need more information on what happend..if it does happen again you can do a print screen and paste it into paint and save it, then upload it here. as it would help us, help you..:)

Hope this Helps...

Ryan, thanks for your message. I opened up my computer this morning, and there was the ease of access button. I had never seen it before, and didn't know what it was. stupidly, I opened it up to check, and then everything went wild!
I am now afraid to turn off this computer (which APPEARS to be ok after I managed to get to system restore).
Only new program installed recently was a VPN open source program, which I have used for years on XP

Ease of access is a means to make changes to the computer that would make computer use easier for some peopele; for the visually impaired, etc., but in your case it is nothing but a headache. I have found this information showing the best way to disable. I suggest that you make a system restore point, before trying. We do not want to make a bad problem worse.

Vista and 7: Easily Disable Ease of Access |

It appars that MS has not deemed it necessary to include an off switch, to what is referred to, in the article, as an annoying feature.

Thankfully, I did not ecnounter this problem, myself and do not know of anyone that has, therefore the suggested solution has not been tested by me or anyone that I know.
