Oh, come on guys, only 5 more days and we will have the RC1 release from M$, we can wait that long, right? I am eager to see the changes that come with this RC.

lol! yes 5 days for offical RC! /sarcasm

you should know by now public RC was moved to may.

edit: was just thinking, maybe this "major" announcment is in fact that they will stick with original date in april with RC ? hm hm... Also if this is not RC, this might be first build of RTM branch and that would mean RC was compiled already. They did something similar with beta1/RC branch. We will know more tomorrow probably tho

Changelog on some sites

Changelog:
1. Improved networking support, The work within the local network.
2. Added support for some previously incompatible programs.
3. Extras in the LP and small cosmetic interface improvements.
4. Added support for new drivers for various of devices.
5. Extended support for sensory based displays.
6. A small optimization and changes in the nucleus(?).

1. Improved love life through getting younger for each day using Windows 7.
2. Added luck in form of finding always exactly what you're looking for.
3. Extras in the Favourites folder of IE, like links to maps of real-time satellite pictures which are updated every 2 seconds.
4. Added personal 24/7 support in case of crashes. That's very nifty because it doesn't crash anymore.
5. Extendet support for making your Windows 7 more personal. Just saiy it - and we program it ... just for you.
6. A small optimization and changes in the notepad.

According to Wzor, the RTM build can leak after June 19 Not sure if it means a week later, a month later, or whatever.

I know what the RC stands for, but what has me befuddled is Escrow. Its not a term I've really heard, however from what I understand the RC-Escrow build/s is/are the one/s given out under a contract to Microsoft partners etc. is that correct?
