reverting to desktop
Hi, May be this is simple or maybe not. Anyway if I go to Google and start to type in my search word the desktop takes over, that is to say my google page reverts to the desk top.
Thanks
Conrad

Welcome to the Forum
We can only go by the information given. Did you happen to move your takskbar? At the end of the task bar there is a little box, that will reveal the desktop if the pointer is placed on it. I was wondering if you had moved your task bar and possibly when you type in Google the pointer may move to the box?
Thanks Richard you have a sixth sense and pure logic as to solving the problems of us clowns. Would you suggest that I run out and buy a Win7 for dummies ?

No Conradx, I would suggest that you do the same thing that I am doing. Visit the forum, learn and share your knowledge. The only reason that I knew the answer is because another poster (without google) had a similar problem.
In any event, I am so very happy that I was able to help.
Take care buddy.

Just had a thought, you can turn that feature off. Right click the box, and then untick peek at desktop. I like the feature, I can view my gadgets while surfing. Take care.
Thanks, I'll leave it on now that I know I do not have any Gremlins running around inside my machine.
