Wordpad Extra Spacing Between Lines
Not Office, but in Wordpad in Win 7 there seems to be extra spacing between single-spaced lines. It's not quite double-spaced but more than single spaced. How can I get rid of that? Thanks.

I have the same problem and always have to remove the checkmarks in TWO places; the top one ("1.0") and the bottom one which you mention. BUT Wordpad will not REMEMBER this and I have to do it EVERY time I want to use Wordpad. Can I teach it to REMEMBER that?
Hello StickMaker,
The only workaround that I found to do this is to set it how you want it, then save a blank Wordpad document. This way you could use this blank Wordpad document as a template, and open it whenever you want to create a document using the settings that were set in that document.
When done using that template workaround to write a document with, use "Save as" to save it so that you do not save and replace your template.
Hope this helps,
Shawn
Thanks very much, Shawn. Maybe I'll just wait until Microshaft gets enough complaints and fixes this.
So you can't accidentally spoil your blank wordpad template:
Right-click on the template.rtf > Properties > General tab > Attributes: tick "Read-only" and OK.
