HoboCopy can be used in Windows 7.
You will have to run it from the command line.
Click Start, type CMD and press Enter
A command window will open.
Navigate to the HoboCopy folder.
The command line syntax is,
1. If you are copying an entire folder
2. If you are copying a single fileCode:hobocopy <Source Folder> <Target Folder>You can use these arguments, if required,Code:hobocopy <Source Folder> <Target Folder> <Filename>
Ex.Code:/full - Copy all files /skipdenied - Ignore any access denied messages because of permission errors. /r - Copy recursively (Include Subdirectories) /y - Don’t prompt, just copy everything
If you are not comfortable with the command line then,Code:hobocopy /full /skipdenied /r /y C:\FromFolder D:\ToFolder hobocopy /full /skipdenied /r /y C:\FromFolder D:\ToFolder FileIWantToCopy.txt
