Can't save to my desktop?

    I really appreciate this post. I just had a computer built with windows 7 and have been trying to find how to save to my desktop.

    I did exactly what damonrd said to do. It WILL NOT work. I ran malwarebytes, superantispyware and ccleaner and it still will not work. I am seriously pissed off, because this happened out of the blue and I just put this damn thing together in July. I REALLY need some help, it is way to damn soon to reformat. Thanks.

    Is your Desktop folder present under your User account name?

    If not type Desktop in Start Search box, rightclick to Open File Location. Where is it located presently?

    To restore it to its correct location or if it can't be found follow User Folders - Restore Default Location
