    Administrator rights

Hello, I have recently installed a second hdd in my computer to be used as a back-up drive.

I thought I would change the name of the drive to 'Back-Up' however when I went to do this once I clicked apply I was told I need administrator rights, that I thought I should have becauaw I am the only user account on the computer and the account type is admin. I found out that there is anohter account in Leo-PC\Administrators.

Its not really a big problem but I would like to know why I don't have all administrator rights?

    Thanks, Leo

    Hi Richard

Thanks for your reply however, I had already found my solution.

Whilst I was trying to rename my new drive I was also formatting it at the same time. Once my computer had finished formatting the drive I was then able to rename the drive and take ownership without any administrator rights problems.

Sorry for not posting this sooner as it would have saved your time.

    Thanks, Leo
