Windows Live Mail is not a part of Windows 7. There is no mail program included with Windows 7.
The entire Live suite is a free add on used by some, and available as an optional windows update too.

Personally I dont use it... still like my Outlook.

Well, I don't know if it is technically part of Windows 7, but it was included and active on my PC when I bought it. My understanding is that it replaced Outlook Express as the free Windows mail program.

If you bought the computer with the OS installed, the download could have been performed before purchase.

With an install with a DVD, the choice of the email client is up to the computer owner. You may use Windows Live Mail or any other client of choice. I have no problems with Windows Live Mail, except the color selcection used.

    hi everyone!!!
    interesting forum indeed....
well this thread is the closest i found.. according my problem...
i use win 7 ultimate... and when i working with programs like cubase 5, for example..and i press the mouse button to switch a knob in an equalizer or in any other parameter of any vst... all the active windows in the program are disappearing as long as i am pressing the button.. and in the main window of the program it says not responding... when i left it... everything is ok... at the beginning i thought it was the program fault (cubase5) but later.. i run ableton7 and had the same results..
does anyone have a clue what might be the fault...??
    sorry for my english
    thnks for ur time... :)
