File icons missing in windows 7

    File icons missing in windows 7


    ok so i have noticed that with applications that require an install theres no icon its just the default missing icon file as shown in the attatchment below.
    can anyone help me or is it meant to be like that?

    Hello StealthyBoss and Arc,

    This is this way by default in Windows 7, but this will allow you to change the icon to the correct application icon.

    Open Application Toolbar and Context Menu Icon - Fix

    I was facing the same problem too. Always thought the default icon was meant to be like that. Anyways, icon is fixed. Thanks brink.
